The 'III Stone Sculpture Symposium of Alvor' was organized by the cultural organization 'A Gaveta', in association with the 'Oficina de Escultura'. Theme of Symposium: "The Sea".

Carving face to face

   

Works were executed in Portuguese stone (brecha, marmol, etc) measuring approximately 1.60m x 0.50m x 0.50m.

Right after finishing work on the last day of the symposium

 

'Aphrodite' is currently property of the Municipality of Portimao.
